Pharmacy Technician in Chester, IL!
Maxim Staffing Solution's Allied Services branch is looking to hire a Pharmacy Technician for a temporary need in the Chester, IL area. This position would only be day shift. We are looking for Illinois State Licensed and Certified Pharmacy Technicians (CPhT or PTCB) with at least one year of on the job experience. Responsibilities include:
o Can prepare, package, and distribute medications prescribed by physicians.
o Completes paperwork and computer related duties.
o Assists pharmacists, physicians, nursing and clinical personnel with pharmacy services.
o Maintains department facilities, equipment, and materials in a condition to promote efficiency, health, comfort, and safety of patients and staff.
o Checks equipment, supplies and accessories on a regular daily basis.
o Keeps supplies current and replenished.
o Processes prescriptions, evaluates for quality and accurate patient identification and side labeling.
Qualifications include:
o High School diploma or its equivalent certification.
o Graduate of accredited Pharmacy Technology Program preferred.
o PTCB or NPTA license preferred.
o Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred.
o Current Health Certificate per contract or state specific regulation.
o Current PPD or Chest X-ray.
